Mission

Liberals Against Nuclear exists to highlight that the current nuclear power policy attacks our core values and also hurts us politically in key seats which we need to win to form a majority government. We are calling on Peter Dutton and the Liberal leadership to drop this anti-liberal policy that contradicts our core values of fiscal responsibility, free markets, and limited government.

Vision

The Liberal Party should return to its core principles and dump the nuclear distraction. Then, the Party will be free to fight for the free market, a smaller public service, lower debt and deficit, and more water for farmers. By abandoning this electorally damaging policy, our party can focus on winning the next election and implementing genuinely liberal reforms that actually align with our values.

Our Team

A self-funded retiree and long-time small business owner from Grenfell, NSW, Paul Luthje built his career from the ground up, starting as a registered builder in Central West NSW.

He established his first small business in 1982, specialising in home renovation and flooring. He relocated to Queensland in 1985 and founded his own building and renovation company as a sole trader, successfully operating for nearly three decades from 1986 to 2014.
As a hands-on builder and business owner for over 32 years, Luthje understands the real challenges facing Australian tradespeople and small business operators.

His perspective, shaped by decades of practical experience and middle-Australia values, advocates for sensible policies that support hardworking Australians without unnecessary government intervention.
